ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-Plus

Ich habe das 1804 seit ein paar Tagen am laufen.
Es hat in den "BIOS" Einstellungen direkt oben auf dem Hauptscreen die Option BAR - scheint ASUS also wichtig zu sein.
Ich habe keine Unterschiede an meinem System festgestellt.

Habe seit einiger Zeit Boot-Probleme, die dieses BIOS aber auch nicht fixt. (Ich wähle beim PC-Start per F8 das Booten von Win10 oder Linux aus. Linux startet er nur manchmal. Meist behauptet Grub, seine Partition nicht zu finden und steckt dann in der Recovery Console fest. Beim nächsten mal startet Grub dann wieder normal - seine Partition ist also offensichtlich vorhanden... Merkwürdiger Kram

Ich habe die 1804 noch nicht eingespielt am HTPC, Startprobleme hatte ich da noch nie. Ist aber nur eine Samsung OEM PCIe SSD (mit AHCI) verbaut und Windows 10 installiert.

Habe das Board mittlerweile 2mal, 1 mal im HTPC mit einem R5 3400G und im Server mit einem R5 3600.

HTPC hatte noch 1202, Server 2006 - bei beiden 2403 eingespielt. Settings wieder eingestellt und keine Probleme
bisher festzustellen. Beim Server melden auch alle Tools/Abfragen weiterhin das ECC aktiv ist und der 3400G im HPTC läuft so wie er soll. Übertaktet ist bei beiden Systemen nichts. ECC Speicher läuft auf default, der Cruical mit Micron E-Die im HTPC auch auf 3000-Cl16-16-16.

Ja definitiv, habe es 2mal im Einsatz. Oberer an der CPU (PCIe 4.0 ) unterer mit Kühlblech am Chipsatz (PCIe 3.0 )

PS.: 2407 für WIFI steht noch aus.

Habe heute den 3400G gegen einen 5600G im HTPC getauscht, vorher Update auf BIOS 2423. Lief ohne Neuinstallation nur die Netzwerkkarten hat er alle neu erkannt. Nach dem ich da im Gerätemanager unter ausgeblente Geräte alles rausgeworfen habe sah es wieder gut aus.

Ein mal Chipsatz- und Grafikkartentreiber neu und die Kiste rennt.

Temperaturen selbst mit Prime 95 und AVX2 ok mit dem NH-LH12:



SSD und Speicher hatte ich auch geändert.

Bin auch ziemlich gespannt was das Mainboard mir mit dem 5700G für Möglichkeiten bietet.Hoffentlich reichen die 2x50A vom SoC für iGPU OC aus und bleiben noch kühl dabei.
