Asus M5A99X Evo Sockel AM3+ R1.0 und AMD FX Series 8370E

Hallo,
ich habe ein Asus M5A99X Evo Sockel AM3+ R1.0 Mainboard und möchte gerne einen neuen Prozessor (bisher Phenom II X6 1100T). Ich habe eigentlich vor gehabt, einen AMD FX Series FX-8350 einzubauen, dann aber bei Mindfacotory im Mindstar den AMD FX Series 8370E 8x für 30€ weniger gesehen. Laut CPU-Kompatibilitätsliste geht aber der 8370 nicht mit meinem Mainboard. Jedoch habe ich hier im Forum (Link: planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/threads/423944-AMD-FX-8370-auf-Asus-M5X99-EVO) gelesen, dass es schon geht. Da ich aber von Einstellungen im BIOS bisher immer die Finger weggelassen habe (also z.B. auch nie übertaktet habe), wollte ich hier nochmal nachfragen, ob ihr meint, dass der 8370 überhaupt stabil läuft.
Zweite Frage, gibt es unterschiedliche FX-8370? Weil bei Mindfactory steht Link: mindfactory.de/product_info.php/AMD-FX-Series-8370E-8x-3-30GHz-So-AM3--BOX_972842.html das der 3,3GHz hat, und der 8350 4,0GHz. Bei CPU-Benchmark finde ich aber nur 8370 mit ebenfalls 4,0 GHz Clockspeed. Ist das eventuell ein Fehler auf der Beschreibungsseite bei Mindfactory, oder gibt es tatsächlich CPU mit derselben Bezeichnung aber unterschiedlichen Taktgeschwindigkeiten?

Lüfter sollte kein Problem sein, da ich meinen X6 auch gekühlt bekommen habe, und der ist ja auch schon ein kleiner Fön.

Ok, mir ist nun selbst aufgefallen, dass 8370E und 8370 wohl den Unterschied ausmacht.
Hm, dann ist der 8370E wohl nicht mehr so interessant, da der dann ohne Übertaktung bestimmt nicht in der selben Liga wie der 8350 mitspielt (wenn überhaupt)?

According to the ASUS HelpDesk CPU List: No

However the FX 8350 is Supported so its not a matter of the TDP capabillity of the Board.

Ist mostly a BIOS Issue ...

Why not just use a FX 8350?
There is only a minor diff in the Turbo freq.
Ist unlocked so you can adjust it accordingly to match a FX 8370 or even better.

My understanding from reading online is since the 8370 is almost 24 months newer than the 8350, the manufacturing process could/should lead to more refined CPU that may have better overclocking and stability. I understand it's the same feature set. Curious for your take on this. I can get the 8350 for $99 while the $8370 is $30 to $40 more so the 8350 might just be better bang for the money.

The difference is rather minimal.
Before you get to the limits of the Chip your M5A99X starts to cry.
My own FX8350 I owned before was able to crank up to 5.2Ghz and this was also the limit of the Board (M5A99FX-PRO 2.0).
The VRM literally melted the solder and started to swim away ...

LOL! Well I picked up the 8350 w/ Wraith from microcenter today. Going to keep it in a box for a few days, don't have time to take backup and take apart my PC just yet.
