Das wäre dann doch nicht mehr mit meinem Gewissen vereinbar gewesen. DH bei ARLT für 390.- € gekauft und Hero bei EKA für 350 innerhalb von ein paar Stunden verkauft, 40.- € Aufpreis halten sich da doch deutlich in Grenzen. :)

Da ich seit dem Wechsel von Hero zu Dark Hero andauernd Freezes habe werde ich das 3903 mal probieren, schlimmer kann es nicht werden.

Hätte mal eine Frage an die ganzen Bios Tester^^

Bin derzeit noch beim Bios 1302 und läuft eigentlich super stabil.
Bringen sich die ganz aktuelles Bios Versionen (hab das normale Hero VIII Board) etwas bezüglich Leistung (alles auto, ohne herumspielerei) beim Ryzen 9 3900X?
 
Wenn alles läuft dann muss man auch nicht updaten, aber dir dürfte z.B. rBAR als Option im BIOS fehlen was aber für die Vega nicht freigegeben ist.

Mir wäre es nur um die Leistung gegangen, wegen dem PBO etc., da soll es ja ein paar Änderungen gegeben haben soweit ich weiß (Und wie sagt man so schön "Never touch a running System"^^)

Du kannst ja trotzdem ein aktuelles BIOS versuchen und mit deiner Hardware schauen ob es Verbesserungen gibt. An den Einstellungen der Lüfter z.B. kann man nur höhere Werte für die Temperaturen festlegen usw.

Das schöne ist ja das man mit Flashback ohne Probleme auch auf die alte Version wieder zurück kommt.

Ich habe noch die 3801 aktiv da bisher noch zu faul dir 3904 zu probieren.
 
Auf dem C8H im 2. Rechner habe ich nun die 3904 aufgespielt weil ich den eh in der Mache hatte wegen SSD Wechsel. Läuft alles so wie vorher auch. Bei mir ist aber auch nichts an die "Kotzgrenze" ausgelotet.

hab nun auch 3904 drauf u erstmal alles smooth auf Stock eingestellt inkl. Lahmen 3200C20 Settings 🤣 läuft alles einwandfrei und auch die aktuelle Amoury Crate ist handzahm. ;) guten Rutsch euch.

Nun mit RGB habe ich bisher nix am Hut - daher auch keinerlei Software von ASUS auf den Rechnern.

Beim 2. Rechner habe ich 2 x 16 DS GB Crucial mit Micron E-Die verbaut, statt 3000 Cl15-16-16 lasse ich die mit 3200 CL14-18-16 laufen. Habe da noch ein 2. Kit von und 2 Kits mit 2 x 8 GB SS. Die machen die Einstellung alle bisher ohne Fehler mit. Da würde bestimmt auch noch mehr gehen hatte ich aber bisher keine Lust zu.

Im Hauptrechner stecken 2 x 16 GB G.Skill Trindet-Z mit 3200 CL14-14-14 - auch hier bin ich bisher faul und stelle die nur auf 3600 Cl16-16-16.

Das haben bisher alle BIOS Versionen mitgemacht und daher bin ich da recht schnell nach dem Updaten wieder am Start.
 
Moin zusammen, das neue Agesa 1206 ist es für die 3D-VCache CPUs die letzten für den Sockel oder waren die schon im 1205 drin ?

Kann ja unter Vermeer fallen, da gabe es ein kleines SMU Update. Aber bis der 5800X3D da ist dauert ja noch Einiges.

Ggf erklärt das auch warum ASUS bisher nur für wenige Boards 1.2.0.5 veröffentlicht hat ganz ohne Probleme soll das nicht sein und sie überspringen das z.B.
für B550. MSI hat ja auch schon welche damit zurück gezogen.

welche BIOS-Version nutz ihr?
Ich werde werde von 4002 wieder auf 3801 wechseln.
Ab AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.5 ist es immer schlechter geworden mit der Leistung.
Welche Erfahrung habt ihr gemacht?
 
Hauptrechner auf 3801, und 2. Rechner auf 3904. Läuft bei meinen Settings so wie es sollte, ich benche aber auch nicht ständig zur Kontrolle.

Aktuelle BETA setze ich aus, wenn es Final ist und es keine negativen Rückmeldungen gibt werde ich es ausprobieren.
Ich muss natürlich dazu schreiben das ich im Gegensatz zu anderen kein CPU Overclocking betreibe nur etwas RAM Tweaken.

Das mit dem RAM Tweaken soll mit den neueren Versionen von AMD AM4 AGESA auch nicht mehr so gut gehen.
