InfraRecorder 0.46

Von der freien Brennsoftware InfraRecorder wurde die Version 0.46 veröffentlicht. Es wurden einige Fehler beseitigt und ein Willkommensbildschirm implementiert. Zudem lassen sich nun direkt mehrere Kopien einer CD oder DVD brennen. Allerdings wurden in der neuen Version die Express-Edition sowie die Unterstützung für Windows 95/98/ME entfernt.

InfraRecorder ist in zahlreichen Sprachen erhältlich, darunter auch Deutsch. Verglichen mit Nero Burning Rom ist es mit nur 3-4 MB sehr klein. Damit InfraRecorder MP3-Dateien verarbeiten kann, ist ein Plugin nötig, welches aus patentrechtlichen Gründen separat heruntergeladen werden muss.
Neben der 32-Bit-Version gibt es von InfraRecorder auch eine für 64-Bit-Systeme und eine Portable-Edition für den Einsatz auf USB-Sticks.

Imgburn ist chic. Kann auch aus VIDEO_TS-Ordnern echte DVDs erstellen und Discs verifizieren.
Unterstützt auch Nero u. Alcohol bei den Image-Formaten.
