Using a KM266 Notebook (Medion MD2629) e.g. black letters on white background are blurred, independent if I use the intarl TFT or an ext. TFT/CRC. This can be also seen in screenshots. It looks like the red pixel are shifted by one pixel

Is this a general problem or driver related?

snn47,

So far didn't hear any related problem with regards to this. There are some possibilities that could be related to VGA driver, VGA BIOS or could be your display itself. Did you check this with Medion already? Thanks

The problem exists with internal/external TFT and CRT-displays, in all available resolutions.

I did check with Medion but they didn't list the Notebook on their homepage,
nor did they have any driver updates available when I called, now would they tell me the ODM.

Since I don't play games I don't need speed, but blurred display is bad after extended work.

Any advice you can give me snn47@compuserve.de
