Link noch mal überarbeitet so das er direkt die Anleitung auf macht, wegen Boinc kann ich noch nicht sagen. Habe Mint nur als VM aktiv im Moment und die ist noch auf 20.3

Habs gestern ausprobiert mit Mint 21 Cinnamon. Boinc funktioniert immer noch nicht wieder, Es wird beim Boinc Manager eine Version 7.18.1 (pre-Release) angezeigt, die sich dann aber nicht mit dem client verbinden kann.
Ich bin dann via timeshift zurück zu 20.3.

Bei mir funktionert der BM 7.18.1 unter Mint 21 fast einwandfrei. Nur QuChemPedIa mag er nicht. Alle WU's geschrottet.

So, BOINC läuft inzwischen - dafür owncloud noch immer nicht.

Bug #1971470 “owncloud exits immediately with “segmentation faul...” : Bugs : owncloud-client package : Ubuntu

When starting “owncloud”, it exists immediately with a “segmentation fault”. Tested on a fresh Jammy.

Das Problem mit dem owncloud-Client besteht noch immer.

Workaround: manuell die 3er Version installieren:

Install package owncloud-client

download.owncloud.com

Zitiert von dort:

Ubuntu_22.04 owncloud-client-3.0.0+oc-9215

Add (at least temporarily) a download repository. This requires registering trusted key. (More information). Run the following shell commands to trust the repository:

wget -nv https://download.owncloud.com/desktop/ownCloud/stable/latest/linux/Ubuntu_22.04/Release.key -O - | gpg --dearmor | sudo tee /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/owncloud.gpg > /dev/null

Run the following shell commands to add the repository and install from there.

echo 'deb https://download.owncloud.com/desktop/ownCloud/stable/latest/linux/Ubuntu_22.04/ /' | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/owncloud.list
sudo apt update

Hab auf dem Rembrandt-Thinkpad ohne Probleme von 21 auf 21.1 Cinnamon aktualisieren können.
Die auffälligste Änderung ist die Leitfarbe orange statt mintgrün, z.B. bei den Ordnern.

The codename for Linux Mint 21.2 is “Victoria”.

Its release is planned for the end of June 2023. As usual it will support the Cinnamon, MATE and Xfce desktop environments.

Upcoming Releases


We’re planning three releases for the Summer (or Winter if you’re in the South Hemisphere):

• Linux Mint 21.2
• An EDGE ISO release with kernel 5.19
• LMDE 6, based on the upcoming Debian 12 (set for release in June)

In order for all releases to get the 21.2 changes, they should come out in that order, with up to a month separating the Mint 21.2 and the LMDE 6 releases.

No ETAs have been decided yet.
