Day 10 14 May 2026 #javelinsandtheirconsequences​

Now the cards are on the table. After the Sprint has been announced as the last discipline, the teams can now prepare for this final challenge. But before the Sprint starts, we have to finalise the Javelin Throw. Since this also has big consequences for the overall standings, I am going to have a closer look at them again today.

Javelin Throw (SRBase: all subprojects except TF)
The last hours are underway and a lot of teams are fully through with their throws to not risk anything. TAAT have ultimately taken the lead and cannot be knocked off from there. LTT anticipated this and only did what had to be done to finish in #2. Already yesterday, SG had secured #3 and thus skipped today.

For P3D it is about securing #4 today, which they have already done. CNT find themselves in #5 ahead of NT and Ukraine. [H] are in #8 and will be relieved that BOINC@AUSTRALIA are throwing too uniformly to really be able to attack.

This situation also holds for LITOMYSL in #10, because GPUUG are not able to attack anymore. MK are currently in #12, slightly ahead of AF, who, however, cannot do anything about that anymore. At least theoretically, EVGA could become dangerous for both, and at the moment it looks like this might actually happen.

RKN secured #15 today, which seems a bit meagre to me. BC are in #16 slightly ahead of Chinese Dream, who really have to watch out for AMD, who themselves have to watch out for BOINC.Italy. Todays throw will bring the decision here. Since 2ch did not want to, B^S are safely in #20.

Overall Standings
Even if changes are still possible at the Javelin Throw, the table is back to normal and we can have a good insight into the overall standings.

TAAT are indisputably in the lead, also because the other teams dropped points again and again. LTT cannot be too sure about #2, because Ukraine and also P3D are still close. But the Green Planet has to get its act together in the City Run and is not allowed to trip during the Sprint.

SGs (#5) options are limited, but their lead ahead of CNT seems comforting. The Czechs are holding contact but are constantly lacking a bit of power. But at least that is enough to keep GPUUG, BOINC@AUSTRALIA, and [H] away. In this trio, GPUUG are benifiting from their lead in the City Run. However, I fear weaker results in the Sprint, which is the opportunity for the two pursuers to target #7.

NT and AF will fight for #10 and as of now, it is completely unclear who has the advantage. At least, NT are barely leading. RKN are currently in #12, ahead of LITOMYSL and BOINC.Italy. The Italians are massively losing ground at the Javelin Throw and the City Run, despite having had really good initial days.

Patchy results led MK to #15, barely ahead of EVGA, who could win six more points at the Javelin Throw. 2ch are securing #17 and it is looking a lot like the following quartet are not able to reach them. Only two points are between BC, B^S, Chinese Dream, and AMD. This promises excitement until the final day.

• Can P3D defend #2 in the Marathon?
• Can GPUUG win a discipline this year again?
• Will SG win another medal?

Nun liegen die Karten auf dem Tisch. Mit dem Sprint wurde nun auch die letzte Disziplin lanciert und so können sich die Teams auf die abschließende Herausforderung einstellen. Doch bevor es zum Sprint geht, gilt es, das Speerwerfen zu beenden. Da dies auch große Auswirkungen auf die Gesamtwertung hat, schaue ich mir diese auch heute genauer an.

Speerwerfen (SRBase: alle Subprojekte außer TF)
Die letzten Stunden laufen, viele Teams haben bereits voll geworfen und wollten wohl nix anbrennen lassen. TAAT hat sich nun auch endgültig an die Spitze gesetzt und ist davon auch nicht mehr zu verdrängen. Dies hat LTT vorhergesehen und heute nur das Nötigste getan, um #2 einzufahren. SG hatte gestern bereits #3 gesichert und macht heute nichts.

Für P3D geht es heute nur darum, #4 abzusichern, und dies haben sie bereits getan. CNT findet sich nun auf #5 wieder, vor NT und Ukraine. [H] ist auf #8 zu finden und wird erleichtert sein, das BOINC@AUSTRALIA zu einheitlich wirft und so nicht mehr richtig attackieren kann.

Diese Situation hilft auch LITOMYSL auf #10, da GPUUG nicht mehr attackieren kann. MK steht aktuell auf #12 und nur wenig dahinter ist AF unterwegs, die allerdings nichts mehr tun können. Zumindest in der Theorie könnte beiden noch EVGA gefährlich werden und derzeit sieht es so aus, dass dies wirklich eintreten könnte.

RKN hat heute #15 abgesichert, was für mich dennoch eher mau erscheint. Auf #16 steht BC, nur knapp vor Chinese Dream, die aber höllisch auf AMD aufpassen müssen, die wiederum auf BOINC.Italy achten müssen. Hier wird der heutige Wurf die Entscheidung bringen. Da 2ch keine Lust hatte, ist #20 für B^S gesichert.

Gesamtwertung
Auch wenn beim Speerwerfen noch Veränderungen möglich sind, hat sich die Tabelle nun zurückgeruckelt und lässt uns einen guten Einblick auf den aktuellen Gesamtstand bekommen.

TAAT führt deutlich, auch weil die nachfolgenden Teams immer wieder Punkte liegen lassen. LTT darf sich #2 nicht allzu sicher sein, da Ukraine, aber auch P3D noch nah dran sind. Allerdings muss der Grüne Planet beim Stadtlauf in die Puschen kommen und darf beim Sprint nicht stolpern.

Für SG (#5) sind die Optionen begrenzt, allerdings erscheint der Vorsprung auf CNT beruhigend. Die Tschechen halten Kontakt, es fehlt ihnen aber immer etwas Kraft. Die ist aber immerhin stark genug, um GPUUG, BOINC@AUSTRALIA und [H] auf Distanz zu halten. In diesem Trio profitiert GPUUG von der Führung beim Stadtlauf. Ich befürchte aber ein eher schwächeres Abschneiden beim Sprint und dies ist die Gelegenheit für die beiden Verfolger, #7 ins Visier zu nehmen.

Um Rang 10 werden sich NT und AF streiten und es ist derzeit völlig unklar, wer hier im Vorteil ist. Zumindest hat NT noch einen kleinen Vorsprung. RKN hat derzeit #12 inne, vor LITOMYSL und BOINC.Italy. Die Italiener verlieren durch Speer und Stadtlauf derzeit massiv an Boden und dabei liefen die ersten Tage doch so gut.

Schwankende Ergebnisse haben MK auf #15 geführt, nur knapp vor EVGA, die beim Speerwerfen allerdings noch 6 Punkte holen können. 2ch sichern #17 ab und es deutet viel darauf hin, dass das folgende Quartett nicht mehr herankommt. Nur zwei Punkte trennen BC, B^S, Chinese Dream und AMD. Das verspricht Spannung bis zum letzten Tag.

• Kann P3D #2 beim Marathon verteidigen?
• Kann GPUUG auch dieses Jahr einen Einzelsieg einfahren?
• Holt SG noch eine weitere Medaille?
