The final and hot phase of this years Pentathlon is underway and the outcomes of three more disciplines have yet to be decided. The first decision will be in the next few hours in the City Run and the starting gun has been fired for the Sprint as the last discipline.

City Run in gravitys pull (Einstein@Home)
GPUUG used the last few hours for an intermediate burst of speed to strengthen their lead ahead of TAAT again. The chances are good that they can bring this advantage over the finish line. But GPUUG must not get sloppy because TAAT are keeping the pressure high.

Ukraine still have good chances to stay in #3, even though LTT are trying to get close. However, they are clearly behind. We have a similar situation between SG (#5) and P3D (#6), although it is a bit closer here.

BOINC@AUSTRALIA, CNT, and AF are still in #7, #8, and #9. And this is not going to change anytime soon. Behind that, [H] try to secure the just recently won spot in #10 and to separate themselves from NT. The next hours will show if this is going to be successful.

While LITOMYSL are sitting among the stars in #12, RKN (#14) are getting ready to attack EVGA (#13). This enterprise could indeed be crowned with success, given that RKN can notch it up a bit.

Behind that, B^S are in a slight turmoil, because #15 is not safe, yet. BOINC.Italy are still faster and are really firing the pizza oven. But the pizza bakers still have a long way to go and it remains to be seen if that is enough for an overtaking manoeuvre.

While MK seem to be content with #17, 2ch are trying to sneak up on them. But also here the lead is comfortable and time is nearly up. Behind that, AMD could not follow that pace and had to let got. Chinese Dream will probably get the lantern rouge, since BC could keep their speed high and constantly expand their margin.

Sprint (NFS@Home)
Especially in the Sprint, the start is decisive. If you miss it, you can hardly catch up. TAAT seem to have been most alert, but also LTT have set their alarm clock to the right time and are keeping touch. Ukraine can currently also still hold contact and they have already separated themselves a bit from P3D.

SG has always been late at the start, so the situation could be worse than #5. But they have to up the ante now if they want to spoil the Green Planets yield. Behind them, there is a huge gap in front of [H], who are trying to hold #6. It is too early to say, whether the trip consisting of GPUUG, AF, and CNT can become dangerous for the hard guys.

NT are in the final top 10 spot and they can feel MK breathing down their neck. Right now, the spectator can hardly guess, which way this is going. It is also really close between LITOMYSL (#12) and RKN. This will also become an exciting duel. Behind that, we again have a huge gap, which EVGA are trying to keep narrow. The following AMD, BOINC@AUSTRALIA, and BOINC.Italy (#17) seem to be running slower than they could. No surprises at the end of the field: 2ch in #18, ahead of Chinese Dream and B^S. BC have not started, yet.

The last hours are running and tomorrow I will get a broader overview. But until then, questions remain:

• Can LTT attack in the Sprint?
• Will P3D stay without a medal in the Overall Standings?
• Will something change in the Marathon?

Jour 12 16/05/2026 #surtoutnepasbrûler​

La phase finale et la plus chaude de ce Pentathlon est en cours et il reste encore trois épreuves à disputer. Le premier résultat tombera dans les prochaines heures à la Course Urbaine et avec le sprint, le coup d'envoi a désormais été donné pour la dernière discipline.

GPUUG a profité des dernières heures pour augmenter à nouveau son avance sur TAAT grâce à un puissant sprint intermédiaire. Il y a donc de bonnes chances qu'elle conserve son avantage jusqu'à l'arrivée. Quoi qu'il en soit, GPUUG ne doit pas se relâcher, car TAAT maintient la pression.

L'Ukraine continue à avoir de bonnes chances de décrocher la 3e place, même si LTT tente encore de s'approcher. Cependant, l'écart est déjà considérable. C'est déjà plus serré entre SG (#5) et P3D (#6), même si, là encore, des doutes sont de mise, compte tenu de la différence notable.

BOINC@AUSTRALIA, CNT et l'AF se situent sur les rangs 7-9, ce qui ne devrait probablement pas changer. Derrière, [H] tente de sécuriser la 10e place fraîchement gagnée et de se détacher de NT. Nous verrons ces prochaines heures si elle y arrive.

Tandis que LITOMYSL (#12) est assise au milieu des étoiles, RKN (#14) s'apprête à attaquer EVGA (#13). Ce projet pourrait être couronné de succès, à condition que les gars et les filles de Rechenkraft arrivent à passer à la vitesse supérieure.

Derrière, une certaine agitation règne chez B^S, car la 15e place n'est pas encore assurée. BOINC.Italy continue à être plus rapide et elle vient d'allumer un sacré feu dans le four à pizza. Par contre, les pizzaïolos ont encore un bout de chemin à faire et il faut voir si la piste restante sera suffisante pour doubler.

Alors que MK semblent satisfaits de la 17e place, 2ch est en train de s'approcher en douce des gars et des filles cool; mais là aussi, le retard est grand et le temps compté. AMD, derrière, n'arrivent plus à suivre ce rythme et ont dû renoncer. La lanterne rouge ira certainement à Chinese Dream, car BC arrive à garder une vitesse soutenue et à augmenter continuellement son avance.

Sprint (NFS@Home)
C'est justement au sprint que le départ est décisif. L'équipe qui le loupe a peu de chances de rattraper son retard. On dirait que l'équipe la plus réveillée était une fois de plus TAAT, mais LTT aussi a mis le réveil et reste sur ses talons. Pour l'heure, l'Ukraine peut aussi rester au contact et a déjà creusé un petit écart sur P3D.

SG a toujours eu un peu de retard au démarrage, la 5e place n'est donc pas encore dramatique. Par contre, elle devra passer à la vitesse supérieure si elle veut gâcher la fête de la Planète Verte. Derrière, il y a déjà un grand écart avec [H] qui tente de garder la 6e place. Il est encore trop tôt pour dire si le trio autour de GPUUG, AF et CNT peut ou veut menacer les gars et les filles durs.

La dernière place dans le top 10 revient actuellement à NT, qui sent MK sur ses talons. Pour l'instant, le spectateur ne peut pas encore deviner dans quelle direction cela va aller. Les choses sont également serrées entre LITOMYSL (#12) et RKN. Ici aussi, un duel passionnant semble se dessiner. Ensuite, nous trouvons à nouveau un écart important, qu'EVGA parvient à maintenir au niveau le plus bas. AMD et BOINC@AUSTRALIA suivent, et j'ai l'impression que BOINC.Italy (#17) ne court pas tout à fait à la hauteur de son potentiel. Il y a moins de surprises à la fin: 2ch à la 18e place, devant Chinese Dream et B^S. BC n'est pas encore partie.

Les dernières heures tournent. Demain, je vais essayer d'avoir une vue d'ensemble plus complète. Mais d'ici là, il reste des questions:

• LTT pourra-t-elle attaquer au Sprint?
• P3D restera-t-elle sans médaille au général?
• Y aura-t-il encore du mouvement au Marathon?

Die finale und heiße Phase des diesjährigen Pentathlons ist im Gange und es stehen noch drei Disziplinen zur Entscheidung an. Die erste Entscheidung fällt in den nächsten Stunden beim Stadtlauf und mit dem Sprint ist nun auch in der letzten Disziplin der Startschuss ertönt.

GPUUG hat die letzten Stunden genutzt, um mit einem kräftigen Zwischenspurt den Vorsprung auf TAAT wieder zu vergrößern, und so stehen die Chancen nicht schlecht, dass sie die Führung ins Ziel bringen werden. GPUUG darf auf jeden Fall nicht nachlässig werden, denn TAAT hält den Druck aufrecht.

Gute Chancen auf #3 hat weiterhin die Ukraine, auch wenn LTT noch versucht, ranzukommen. Allerdings ist der Rückstand schon deutlich. Zwischen SG (#5) und P3D (#6) geht es da schon etwas enger zu, obwohl auch hier Zweifel angesagt sind ob des deutlichen Unterschiedes.

BOINC@AUSTRALIA, CNT und AF haben weiter die Plätze 7-9 inne, woran sich wohl auch nichts mehr ändern wird. Dahinter versucht [H], den frisch errungenen Platz 10 abzusichern und sich von NT zu lösen. Ob das gelingt, werden wir die nächsten Stunden sehen.

Während LITOMYSL auf #12 zwischen den Sternen sitzt, macht sich RKN (#14) daran, EVGA (#13) zu attackieren. Dieses Vorhaben könnte von Erfolg gekrönt sein, vorausgesetzt, die Rechenkraftler können noch eine Schippe drauflegen.

Dahinter herrscht bei B^S leichte Unruhe, denn #15 ist noch nicht sicher. BOINC.Italy ist weiter schneller und hat gerade mächtig Feuer im Pizzaofen gemacht. Allerdings haben die Pizzabäcker noch eine Wegstrecke vor sich und es bleibt abzuwarten, ob die verbleibende Strecke ausreicht, um noch vorbeizugehen.

Während MK mit #17 zufrieden scheinen, ist 2ch dabei, sich näher an die Coolen heranzuschleichen. Aber auch hier ist der Rückstand groß und die Zeit knapp. AMD dahinter können diesem Tempo nicht mehr folgen und haben abreißen lassen müssen. Die rote Laterne wird wohl an Chinese Dream gehen, da BC ihr Tempo hochhalten kann und so den Vorsprung kontinuierlich ausbaut.

Sprint (NFS@Home)
Gerade beim Sprint ist der Start entscheidend. Wer den verpennt, kann das kaum noch aufholen. Am wachsten war wohl wieder einmal TAAT, doch auch LTT hat sich den Wecker pünktlich gestellt und bleibt derzeit dran. Aktuell kann auch Ukraine noch dranbleiben und hat auf P3D schon eine kleine Lücke geschlagen.

SG war schon immer eher ein Spätstarter, so ist #5 noch kein Beinbruch, allerdings muss man jetzt nachlegen, wenn man dem Grünen Planeten die Ernte verhageln will. Dahinter klafft dann schon eine große Lücke auf [H], die gerade versuchen, #6 zu halten. Noch ist es zu früh, um einzuschätzen, ob das Trio um GPUUG, AF und CNT den Harten gefährlich werden kann oder will.

Den letzten Top-10-Platz hält derzeit NT, welche MK im Nacken spüren. Noch lässt sich dem Betrachter nicht erschließen, in welche Richtung es gehen soll. Eng geht es derzeit auch zwischen LITOMYSL (#12) und RKN zu, auch hier bildet sich wohl ein spannender Zweikampf heraus. Danach haben wir wieder eine größere Lücke, welche EVGA noch am geringsten hält. AMD, BOINC@AUSTRALIA und auch BOINC.Italy auf #17 scheinen mir etwas unter ihrem Potenzial zu rennen. Am Ende gibt es weniger Überraschendes: 2ch auf #18, vor Chinese Dream und B^S. Bisher nicht gestartet ist BC.

Die letzten Stunden laufen und morgen werde ich mir mal einen weiterläufigen Überblick verschaffen, aber bis dahin bleiben Fragen:

• Kann LTT beim Sprint attackieren?
• Bleibt P3D ohne Gesamtmedaille?
• Bewegt sich noch was beim Marathon?
