The first in the overall standings is stumbling a bit in the forest of numbers, and in the Javelin Throw, the first cards are being put on the table. It does not get boring for our teams. The conditions are always changing at different points.

TAAT used the first bonus day perfectly to set the world straight again. And for now it does not look as if they wanted to slow down. For now, #2 is all that is left for LTT, which is not bad, but still puts the dampers on their hopes.

It is LTTs decision now, if they want to use their great lead ahead of P3D to redeploy forces. P3D themselves could also try that, but should be careful because Ukraine (#4) are holding up the pressure. And exactly that is making SG behind them sweat and leads to the question whether their reserves are enough to counterattack.

Behind them, CNT and BOINC@AUSTRALIA are doing their own solo race. They both cannot win much, but there is also not much danger from behind. [H] nested in #8 and do not seem willing to give up this cozy spot again. NT and BOINC.Italy are trying everything to keep up, but are slowly and steadily losing ground.

AF crawled to #11 and past MK. The cool guys, however, do not seem willing to take this and are staying close. Will our brave Gallic club swingers accept this?

While LITOMYSL put their foot down yesterday and made the impression #13 might not be the end of the line, that has to be relativised now. Is this just a short pause to catch some breath or is it permanent weakness? RKN are trying to find out and attack.

While GPUUG are constantly working on securing #15, EVGA try to reach exactly this spot. The next hours will tell if that is a hopeful endeavour. 2ch in #17 seem to have full control, which might be misleading in the case of BC. Chinese Dream might be behind a bit, but is able to launch a swift and unexpected attack. AMD and B^S at the end do not seem to have enough forces to get involved.

Javelin Throw (SRBase: all subprojects except TF)
The first teams are coming out of their hiding today. We will soon have a look at which of the teams, and if at all, is gambling. As a reminder: the third best attempt will be counted, i.e. the currently worst one. So, the standings are no help at all to estimate the current relative strengths. I will give an overview.

BOINC@AUSTRALIA is still happy about #1, even if that will not last. The second throw lands in around the same range as the one yesterday. The next throw will show if that is already their top performance.

Behind them, the first favourites for the podium are crawling out of their holes. LTT has already left a first mark. P3D and SG are definitely in throwing mode today, but still far behind LTT. This can of course still change.

EVGA and AF still leave it open if they want to confirm yesterdays throw. So far, they are still both behind that. Perhaps AF had a successful boar hunt yesterday, and you cannot throw so well with a full stomach.

CNT is in #7 behind them, which will probably not be too far from their final parking position. The Czechs are going for a serious attempt today, but currently cannot follow the two German teams.

Are RKN just flinching or will they let follow something? It was not much yesterday, but it also is not too much this time. But they day is not over, yet. With BC, TAAT, B^S, BOINC.Italy and MK, five teams are following, who do not seem to be going for a serious attempt. While TAAT are gambling and is betting everything on the last three throws, the others are exhausted after yesterday.

LITOMYSL and [H], however, are clearly indicating that it might be enough for the top 10. Ukraine should also have the potential for that, but they are not yet showing that. Are they gambling like TAAT or are they not able to throw? The next throw will bring clarity here, as well. Yesterday in front, now almost at the end, that is what GPUUG are doing. The reason is that they probably will not do anything after yesterdays throw. If they can confirm yesterdays performance, they definitely will not stay in #16.

Poker face or a lack of ambition we do not know that for AMD, 2ch, and Chinese Dream. The trio did not touch their javelins, yet. We will soon see if it stays this way.

The Javelin Throw holds up to its promise. Different tactics force our brain cells to work and keep the teams tactic departments busy. Only three throws have been announced so far, and the start of the next disciplines also still lies in the dark. A challenge for our Pentathletes.

Der bisher Führende in der Gesamtwertung strauchelt gerade im Zahlenwald und beim Speer werden die ersten Karten auf den Tisch gelegt. Es wird also nicht langweilig für unsere Teams, ständig ändert sich die Lage an verschiedenen Punkten.

Jagdrennen nach Zahlen (PrimeGrid: nur das Subprojekt SR5 Sieve)
TAAT hat den ersten Bonustag perfekt genutzt, um die Welt wieder gerade zu rücken. Und aktuell sieht es nicht so aus, als würden sie das Tempo drosseln wollen. Für LTT bleibt vorerst nur #2, was ja auch nicht schlecht ist, aber dennoch den Hoffnungen einen Dämpfer versetzt.

Es bleibt nun an LTT zu entscheiden, ob man den großen Vorsprung auf P3D taktisch nutzt, um Kräfte zu verlagern. Dies könnte auch P3D versuchen, sollte dabei aber dennoch wachsam bleiben, denn die Ukraine (#4) hält den Druck aufrecht. Und genau dies bringt SG dahinter ins Schwitzen und zur Frage, ob die Reserven reichen, um zurückzuschlagen.

Dahinter laufen CNT und BOINC@AUSTRALIA ihr eigenes Solorennen. Für beide geht es nicht mehr nach vorn und von hinten scheint auch keine Gefahr zu lauern. [H] hat sich inzwischen auf #8 eingenistet und scheint nicht gewillt zu sein, dieses nette Plätzchen wieder abzugeben. NT und BOINC.Italy versuchen alles um dranzubleiben, verlieren aber langsam und stetig etwas an Boden.

AF hat sich auf #11 gekrabbelt, vorbei an MK. Dies wollen die Coolen aber wohl nicht so einfach hinnehmen und bleiben dran. Ob dies unsere wackeren gallischen Keulenschwinger auf sich sitzen lassen?

Nachdem LITOMYSL gestern Gas gegeben hat und kurzfristig der Eindruck entstand, #13 könnte noch nicht alles gewesen sein, so muss ich das derzeit relativieren. Ist das nur ein kurzes Luftholen oder eine dauerhafte Schwäche? RKN versucht, dies herauszufinden, und greift an.

Während GPUUG stetig daran arbeitet, #15 abzusichern, versucht EVGA, genau diesen Platz noch zu erreichen. Die nächsten Stunden werden zeigen, ob dies ein hoffnungsvolles Unterfangen ist. 2ch auf #17 scheint die volle Kontrolle zu haben, was bei BC definitiv täuschen könnte. Denn Chinese Dream liegt zwar etwas zurück, ist aber in der Lage, schnell und überraschend zu attackieren. Am Ende haben AMD und B^S wohl keine Kraft, sich da noch einzumischen.

Speerwerfen (SRBase: alle Subprojekte außer TF)
Heute kommen die ersten Teams aus der Deckung. Ob und wer weiter pokert, schauen wir uns gleich an. Zur Erinnerung, in die Wertung fließt der drittbeste Versuch ein, d.h. derzeit der schlechteste. Die Tabelle ist also kaum hilfreich, um die aktuellen Kräfteverhältnisse einzuschätzen. Ich mache mal eine Bestandsaufnahme.

BOINC@AUSTRALIA freut sich weiter über #1, auch wenn dieser nicht von Dauer sein wird. Der zweite Wurf geht in die Richtung von gestern. Beim nächsten Wurf werden wir sehen, ob dies bereits die Höchstleistungen darstellt.

Dahinter kommen die ersten Favoriten auf das Podium aus ihren Löchern gekrochen. LTT hat schon mal eine erste Duftmarke hinterlassen. P3D und SG sind heute definitiv im Werfmodus, aber noch deutlich von LTT weg. Dies kann sich aber noch ändern.

Bei EVGA und AF bleibt derzeit noch offen, ob sie den gestrigen Wurf bestätigen wollen. Derzeit liegen beide noch drunter. Bei AF war vielleicht die gestrige Wildschweinjagd erfolgreich und mit vollem Bauch wirft es sich halt nicht so gut.

Dahinter findet sich CNT derzeit auf #7, was wohl nicht ganz so weit von der endgültigen Parkposition weg sein wird. Auch die Tschechen werfen heute ernsthaft, können den beiden deutschen Teams aber derzeit nicht folgen.

Zuckt RKN nur oder kommt da heute noch was? Viel war das gestern nicht, aber besonders viel mehr gibt es bis jetzt auch nicht. Aber noch ist der Tag ja nicht zu Ende. Mit BC, TAAT, B^S, BOINC.Italy und MK folgen 5 Teams, die derzeit keine Anstalten machen, ernsthaft zu werfen. Während TAAT pokert und alles auf die letzten drei Würfe setzt, sind die anderen ausgelaugt vom gestrigen Tag.

Dagegen setzen LITOMYSL und [H] heute ein klares Zeichen, das für die Top 10 reichen könnte. Dafür sollte auch die Ukraine das Potenzial haben, allerdings zeigt sie es noch nicht. Pokern sie wie TAAT oder können sie nicht? Auch hier wird der nächste Wurf Klarheit bringen. Gestern weit vorn mit dabei und nun fast ganz hinten, das macht GPUUG. Der Grund ist, dass man nach dem gestrigen guten Wurf heute wohl nichts macht. Wenn man die gestrige Leistung noch zweimal bestätigen kann, bleibt es definitiv nicht bei #16.

Ob Pokerface oder keine Lust, das wissen wir bei AMD, 2ch und Chinese Dream nicht. Das Trio hat bisher die Speere nicht angefasst. Ob das so bleibt, werden wir bald wissen.

Das Speerwerfen hält, was es verspricht, unterschiedliche Taktiken zwingen unsere Gehirnzellen zum Arbeiten und halten die taktischen Abteilungen der Teams auf Trab. Noch sind erst drei Würfe angekündigt, und auch wann die nächsten Disziplinen beginnen, liegt noch im Dunkeln. Eine Herausforderung für unsere Pentathleten.

• Kann LTT beim Jagdrennen zurückschlagen?
