Sowohl ein Fund aus dem Januar als auch ein Fund aus der World Water Day Challenge im März wurden erst mit einiger Verzögerung in den Projektnachrichten bekanntgegeben und seien mit einer weiteren Verzögerung hier nachgereicht. Hinzu kommt noch eine im Vorfeld der Geek Pride Day Challenge im Mai gefundene GFN-19-Primzahl.

321-Megaprimzahl!
Am 8. Januar 2022 um 21:46:05 MEZ hat PrimeGrids 321 Prime Search eine Megaprimzahl gefunden:

3*2^18196595-1

Die Primzahl hat 5 477 722 Dezimalstellen und erreicht Platz 20 in Chris Caldwells Datenbank der größten bekannten Primzahlen.

Die Entdeckung gelang einem anonymen Benutzer aus Polen mit einem Intel Core i9-9900K @ 3,60 GHz mit 32 GB RAM unter Windows 10. Dieser Rechner brauchte etwa 2 Stunden 40 Minuten für den PRP-Test mit LLR2.

Am 24. März 2022 um 18:27:33 MEZ hat PrimeGrids 321 Prime Search eine Megaprimzahl gefunden:

3*2^18924988-1

Die Primzahl hat 5 696 990 Dezimalstellen und erreicht Platz 18 in Chris Caldwells Datenbank der größten bekannten Primzahlen.

Die Entdeckung gelang Frank Matillek (boss) aus Deutschland mit einer Intel-CPU mit 1 GB RAM unter Ubuntu Linux. Dieser Rechner brauchte etwa 1 Tag 1 Stunde 39 Minuten für den PRP-Test mit LLR2. Frank Matillek ist Mitglied des Teams SETI.Germany.

GFN-19 gefunden!

Am 15. Mai 2022 um 18:29:48 MEZ hat PrimeGrids Generalized Fermat Prime Search eine Megaprimzahl gefunden:

4896418^524288+1

Die Primzahl hat 3 507 424 Dezimalstellen und erreicht in Chris Caldwells Datenbank der größten bekannten Primzahlen Platz 3 für verallgemeinerte Fermat-Primzahlen und Platz 54 insgesamt.

Die Entdeckung gelang Tom Greer (tng) aus den Vereinigten Staaten mit einer NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 in Verbund mit einem Intel Core i7-6700 @ 3,40 GHz mit 24 GB RAM unter Windows 10. Diese GPU brauchte etwa 1 Stunde 1 Minute für den PRP-Test mit GeneferOCL2. Tom Greer ist Mitglied der Antarctic Crunchers.

Der Fund wurde am 16. Mai 2022 um 20:12:23 MEZ von Albert Pastuszka (User B@P) aus Polen mit einer NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 in Verbund mit einem AMD Athlon II X3 445 mit 6 GB RAM unter Windows 10 bestätigt. Dieser Rechner brauchte etwa 6 Stunden 46 Minuten für den PRP-Test mit GeneferOCL2. Albert Pastuszka ist Mitglied von BOINC@Poland.

Die Primalität dieser PRP wurde mit einem AMD Ryzen 5 3600 mit 4 GB RAM unter Ubuntu Linux bewiesen. Dieser Rechner brauchte etwa 22 Stunden 17 Minuten für den Primalitätstest mit LLR.
