Im Vorlauf zum BOINC Pentathlon wurde von AXm 77 (Team: BOINC@Poland) ein Primfaktor einer Cullen/Woodall-Zahl gefunden. Mit 65 Dezimalstellen ist dieser etwas größer als ein beim bisher letzten Pentathlon-Auftritt des Projekts gefundener Faktor einer Zahl des gleichen Typs und der bisher fünftgrößte mit ECM gefundene Faktor in diesem Jahr.

Die Projekte ECM und ECM P2 wurden vom BOINC Pentathlon für die Disziplin Hindernislauf ausgewählt. Viele Teilnehmer laden bereits eine Menge WUs herunter und einige werden auch bereits zurückgemeldet. Die Punkte zählen noch nicht für den Pentathlon, aber wir haben bereits ein nennenswertes Ergebnis, nämlich eine 65-stellige Primzahl. Diese wurde an Paul Zimmermann für seine ECM-Rekordliste übermittelt.
