Was AMD im letzten Jahr mit dem Catalyst-Omega-Treiber kurz vor Weihnachten begann, findet heute mit der Radeon Software Crimson Edition seine Fortsetzung. Im Laufe des Tages wird die Spezialausgabe vom runderneuerten Treiberpaket für Radeon-Grafikkarten veröffentlicht. Wie wir schon vor drei Wochen berichteten, geht damit sowohl die Umbenennung des ehemals “Catalyst” genannten Treiberpakets in “Radeon Software” als auch die von Grund auf neue Gestaltung der Benutzerschnittstelle zur Konfiguration der Grafikkarte einher. Außerdem hat AMD den Installer für das Treiberpaket optisch und technisch überholt.

Warum sind manche Artikel gekürzt und manche (wie dieser hier) in voller Länge im Forum?

Ist es Absicht, dass dabei die Bilder nicht angezeigt werden?

Um aus dem anderen Thread zu zitieren, ein paar Bilder des UIs:


Auf den ersten Blick.. Daumen hoch AMD!
Alles wirkt sauber und aufgeräumt, manche Features kann ich nicht testen, da nicht vorhanden. Speicherbelegung im Tray liegt bei 2MB, geöffnet bei knapp 30MB. Die Oberfläche ist teils teiltransparent.

Mit LFC gibt es dann wohl kein pro-GSync Argument mehr.

Im Forum sollen eigentlich immer nur Ausschnitte angezeigt werden. Bestimmte Bilder können im Forum nicht angezeigt werden.

Übrigens ist der aktuelle Crimson nur für GCN Karten. VLIW werden nun als Legacy geführt (gibt dafür wohl einen eigenen Beta Treiber).
 
Warum ist .NET in den beiden Paketen für Windows 7 enthalten, wenn es doch gar nicht mehr gebraucht wird?
 
Hast du die News zu Crimson gelesen? Wenn ja, wüsstest du es. Es sind noch Bestandteile des CCC nicht in die neue Oberfläche überführt. Einige Funktionen sind daher nur über ein zusätzlich zu öffnendes CCC Fenster erreichbar. Mehr dazu findest du in der News samt Bild.
 
Dauert 'ne gefühlte Ewigkeit bis diese Dotnet-abhängingen Reste geladen sind, der Weg ab davon ist schon richtig.

Naja, ich nutze nur APUs und kann daher nichts zu dGPUs sagen.

Wenn der Hotfix raus ist, gibt es ne News.
 
Bei meiner 7870 von HIS gibt es keine Probleme.

    • Fallout 4 - Foliage/water may ripple/stutter when game is launched in High/Ultra settings mode
    • Fallout 4 - Screen tearing in systems with both AMD Freesync™ and AMD Crossfire™ enabled if game is left idle for a short period of time
    • Fallout 4 - Thumbnails may flicker or disappear while scrolling the Perk levels page
    • Far Cry 4 - Stuttering may be observed when launching the game with AMD Freesync™ and AMD Crossfire™ enabled
