Nach einem Monat Entwicklungszeit hat Sun die Version 2.1.4 der kostenlosen Virtualisierungssoftware VirtualBox veröffentlicht. Dabei handelt es sich um ein reines Bugfix-Release; neue Funktionen sind nicht hinzugekommen.
VirtualBox ist für Windows, Mac OS X, Linux und Solaris verfügbar. Zu den unterstützten Gastsystemen zählen neben Windows, Linux und Solaris auch OS/2, DOS und einige BSD-Derivate.
