ATI hat sein CATALYST Grafikkarten-Treiberpaket in der Version 6.11 zum Download freigegeben. Voraussetzung für das CATALYST Control Center (CCC*) ist ein installiertes Microsoft .NET Framework. Wie kann ich die Mobility Treiber laden, ohne dass ich dieses "Validation Tool" laufen lassen muss. Weil die Treiber laufen auf meinem Notebook, obwohl das "Validation Tool" etwas Anderes behauptet.

Wieso wird der Catalyst Mobility (6.11) eigentlich nicht mehr extra aufgeführt?

meine das mir schon mal aufgefallen. früher war es jedenfalls so.
Weil ich den auf die Schnelle nicht gefunden hab.
Hatte mich schon gefreut, dass man ohne irgendwelchen IDs auf die Downloadseiten linken kann, aber bei den Treibern schlaegt wieder gnadenlos dieses Anti-Leechtool zu.

Eine Frage habe ich. Habe das .Net 1.1 drauf im moment. Nun lese ich das man wohl .Net 2.0 braucht. Ist das korrekt? Wenn man .Net 1.1 nutzt sieht man dann nicht alles im Treiber, habe das bei der Installations damals mal igoniert das Warnfenster ich solle .Net installieren (hatte ich ja .Net 1.1 eben). Ich meine ich Update gerne, nur will ich wissen welche .Net-Version ich brauche. Wenn natürlich 2.0 geht nehme ich diese weil der ATI Treiber das einzige ist wofür ich das .Net brauche.
Denn wenn ATI endgültig auf .Net 2.0 umsteigt will ich das natürlich nicht verpassen .
Schade ist nämlich immer noch das es Microsoft nicht schafft z.b. im neusten .Net 3.0 die vorherigen Versionen mit einzubinden, so das man nur .Net 3.0 installiert und gleichzeitig Programme die .Net 1.1 + .Net 2.0 brauchen auch laufen....

Ich installierte den neuesten Linuxtreiber für die ATI X1900XT Grafikkarte.
Meiner Meinung nach läuft er darauf instabiler, als der ältere Treiber.
Oft kommt es vor, dass statt der ATI Treiber der MESA Treiber geladen wird.
Mit dem MESA Treiber ist DVD gucken sinnlos.
Mit dem ATI Treiber strahlen die DVD Videos im neuen Glanz und lückenlos.
Ich gucke aber erst einmal, ob es nicht an der Konfiguration liegt, ein gutes wiki steht ja dem ubuntu bei.
