CPU support für MSI 6380 - K7T266 Pro?

Hallo Jungs,
in dem Rechner eines Kumpels habe ich ein MSI 6380 - K7T266pro Mobo gefunden. Ein CPU upgrade steht an! Was kann ich meinem Kumpel für eine CPU empfehlen, wir dachten mind. an einen XP 2200. Stimmt es, daß das Ding keine Thoroughbred CPUs nimmt, wie auf der MSI page geschrieben steht? Was würdet ihr machen?

Hi,

versuchs mal mit der Suchfunktion. So Mitte Februar rum wurde das Thema hier eingehend diskutiert. Wenns das Pro2 ist, dann kann man mit einer leichten Modifikation (einen Kondensator -C37, entfernen und Bios update) das ganze zum laufen bringen. Bei mir ging es zumindest mit dem T-Bred 1700.
Link zur Mod und Bios ist auch im Forum, habe ihn gerade nicht greifbar.

Upps, sehe gerade, Du hast Version 1, also Fehlanzeige, wieder mal zu schnell in die Tasten gehauen.
