Crytek der Produzent von Far Cry verspricht für sein zweites Spiel namens Crysis vollen Support für 64-Bit und Multithreading.
In einem <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/crysis/news.html?sid=6154899" target="b">Bericht</a> von GameSpot äußert sich CEO Cevat Yerli:
<ul><i>"Crysis will feature out-of-the-box 32-bit, 64-bit, DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and multithreading support"</i></ul>Beim Spiel soll ein Prozessor, der 64-Bit unterstützt, einen Performancevorteil von 10 bis 15 Prozent ausmachen und von Multi-Core Prozessoren soll die hauseigene Physikengine "CryPhysics" profitieren. Dabeit legt Crytek wert darauf, dass das Spiel aber auch mit Single-Core Prozessoren spielbar sein wird.
