Blöde Frage. Muss der USB Stick Irgendwie vorbereitet werden ? .. Also ich kauf mir einen Stick. Stecke diesen in einen USB Slot. Und dann erkennt den Ventoy und Formatiert den nach "seiner" Gunst ?

Nach einem Hinweis in einem Thread im DC Bereich auf Ventoy habe ich das mal ausprobiert.

Das ist wirklich eine tolle und vor allem auch einfache Sache um sich z.b. einen USB-Stick zu erstellen mit dem man dann diverse ISOs direckt starten kann.

Was ist Ventoy:

Ventoy is an open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD(x)/EFI files.
With ventoy, you don't need to format the disk over and over, you just need to copy the ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD(x)/EFI files to the USB drive and boot them directly.
You can copy many files at a time and ventoy will give you a boot...

Bei der Windowsversion:

- ZIP runterladen und entpacken
- vent2disk starten
- USB Stick auswählen
- Install (wenn es eine neue Version von Ventoy gibt kann man darüber auch den Stick updaten, ISOs bleiben erhalten)

Der Stick wird gelöscht und Ventoy legt 2 Partitionen an, die 2 wird gemountet und auf die kopiert man dann seine ISO etc.
