Mit Wirkung vom heutigen Tag tritt bei AMD eine neue Preisliste in Kraft. Dabei wurden allerdings lediglich die Preise der 100er und 1000er Opterons gesenkt.
In der Spitze werden die Preise der Prozessoren dabei um etwa 51 Prozent gesenkt. Wie üblich gibt AMD die Preise für 1000er Stückzahlen und AMD Direktkunden an, Steuern oder sonstige Abgaben sind nicht enthalten.

Welcher der DC Opterons hat sich denn bei den Overclockern beliebt gemacht? Mein 165er läuft auf 2x2,25 GHz, aber in Zukunft wäre es natürlich schön bei weiteren Preissenkungen dann irgendwann aufzurüsten.

Im Vergleich zu den AM2 Desktopmodellen sind sie zwar immernoch recht teuer (vor allem angesichts der angekündigten Preissenkungen dieser Anfang Juli), aber wenn man neues Board, neue Graka, neuen Ram dagegenhält...
so ein kleiner 185er wuerde zumindest mein System noch fuer 1 - 2 Jährchen am Leben erhalten...
