BOINC Client 4.xx

Kleine Frage: welche Einstellung erlaubt es Wu´s zu Bunkern
 
Du musst in deinem Profil die Cache-Einstellungen raufsetzen, irgendwo zwoischen 5 und 14 Tagen ist wohl momentan OK, denke ich.

Heißt das jetzt dass die beiden WUs fertig gedownloadet sind? Weil im Work-Register steht bei Status bei beiden noch Downloading ???
Kenn mich halt noch garnet aus mit dem BOINC *noahnung*

Im Moment klappt's ja wieder, hier sind gerade an die 30 WUs eingetrudelt.

tjo, is bei mir net anders, liegt aber daran da sich keine seti-executable mehr hab. ich hab reset gemacht, und nu zwar ne workunit bekommen, aber die anderen files fehlen :(

edit: problem gelöst. hab auf 4.06 zpgegradet, und nu gehts! nur wo genau stelle ich meinen cache ein? ich hab dir ganze hp durchsucht, meine "2" computer zusammengeführt, aber den cache find ich einfach net. irgendwie hats die einstellung net mehr, früher hab ich sie immer gefunden...

unter Your account -> Preferences + General -> und dann war das der 7 Punkt von oben

da stand "Keep enough work on Disk to last between x and xx days", aber scheinbar haben

die die Prefs geändert, jetzt steht da "Connect to network about every xx days".

Die Statistiken werden leider nicht in Echtzeit aktualisiert. Ferner gibt es Credits erst, wenn die WUs von zwei weiteren Rechnern zur Verifikation zurück geschickt wurden (gab wohl in der Vergangenheit zu viele falsche Ergebnisse durch übertaktete oder defekte Rechner). Einfach 1-2 Tage warten und dann die Statistiken noch einmal prüfen. Dann sollte eigentlich alles seine Ordnung haben.

PS: Das kann auch länger als ein paar Tage dauern ;)

Nicht nur das, ich vermute mal das der validator noch nicht online ist.
Der verifiziert die WUs und berechnet die credits.

Das war beim letzten großen server prob auch so.

Aber die credits kommen so oder so.

Jap. Wir hatten 4000 Credits und Server Probs ...dachten unsere WUs wären umsonst gewesen, aber dann plötzlich nach einigen vielen Tagen hatten wir über 8000 Credits. Da geht nichts (oder fast nichts) verloren vermute ich.
 
Kann mir net helfen, aber bei Seti hat sich noch nichts getan seit ich angemeldet bin... ???

Das steht unter Messages, bei Work sind ein Haufen WUs mit Status "downloading" und bei Projects überall 0% :(
 
Jo, die müssen erst runtergeladen werden. Dann steht da statt "Downloading" - "Ready to run", oder "Download failed" (selbsterklärend ;) )

PS: Bei Project hast du mehrere Projekte? Wenn du nur eins hast (z.B. Seti@home), dann sollte es 100% Resource share haben. Ansonsten müsstest du es so aufteilen, wie du es für nötig hältst ;)

Falls unter Transfer nichts mehr steht, dann hat er die Dinger auch runtergeladen. Ich hatte mal das gleiche Problem, da hatte er die Setiathome 4.03, die er nach der Anmeldung des Projektes lädt, nicht vollständig geladen, WU`s aber schon. Abmelden und nochmal Anmelden des Projektes in Boinc müsste helfen, wenn nicht gradmal der Server wieder tot ist.
