Also was denn nu ?

#ASRock schreibt
*ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if Pinnacle, Raven, Summit or Bristol Ridge CPU is being used on your system.

Hello,

BIOS 5.50 is the most mature BIOS for Raven/Pinnacle/Summit/Bristol Ridge processors.
BIOS 6.10 is the most mature BIOS for Matisse and Picasso.
So far I have not seen any issues with Raven/Pinnacle/Summit/Bristol Ridge processors in combination with BIOS 6.10. So you can go either way.

Upgrade to BIOS 6.10 via Instant Flash:
- Please unpack the ZIP file.
- Take or prepare a USB flash drive which is formatted as FAT32.
- Copy the unpacked file to the USB flash drive.
- Please start Instant Flash from within the BIOS. Or press F6 repeatedly during bootup to start Instant Flash.
- The system might restart automatically, or you might have to press a key to restart.
- Depending on the BIOS update, the system might restart automatically a few times. Just give it some time.
- Wait until all restarts have finished and the system stops booting.
- Now you can remove the USB flash drive.
- After the BIOS update, the system will initially use default BIOS settings.

If you added a TPM module to the system and use it for encryption then please remove the encryption before updating the BIOS.
If you are using RAID then please restore RAID related settings in BIOS after the update, and before booting into the OS again.

Or downgrade from 5.90 to BIOS 5.50 via a utility under Windows:
drive.google.com/file/d/1zdvbJA7hPtmBLmryRxq48Xa0IFnp45W2/view?usp=sharing
Please download, unzip, and then run the tool as administrator. Confirm twice with “y”, ignoring the warning.

If you want to go from a newer version to 5.50 later, then please go to 5.90 via Instant Flash first, and then from 5.90 to 5.50 via the utility under Windows. Thanks.

Kind regards,
ASRock Support
