Now anytime a new project is added I start a poll on the site.

Since I don't really want to mess with prod, I have made a copy of it. See the boincgames thread for the URL to test and give me feedback on performance.

I believe I have narrowed down the root cause and have deployed the optimization to the site to fix the performance issue.

I am closing the issue as I believe its now solved!

It seems you solved it, now it takes at most 1,7s.

So we are going to be changing the points system on BG to include the top 100 teams and top 300 users.

This change will happen in 2024, but I'd like to make the change now so we can test it. I started a poll asking the users if they're okay with changing it mid-year.
